October 3, 2011- Weekly Reminders

Weekly Spelling Words: This is our review week for the first Imagine It! Unit~ Risks and Consequences. This week we are practicing "Razzle Dazzle" writing words!

Monday: P.E Day (don't forget your sneakers!!!) Homework packets are sent home for the week. Please be sure that your child brings their AR book back to school with them on Monday. The expectation is that they bring it back and forth every day and are prepared to take their AR test on Friday! An extra Math assignment will be sent home in order to review for Tuesday's Math test.

Tuesday: District Expository Writes Upon Request @ 9am; Chapter 1 Math Test

Wednesday: Folders and Grade reports will be sent home; We will begin working on Narrative Writing (writing to tell a story)

Thursday: Students will take their Reading Benchmark Assessment

Friday: Homework packet is due; AR Test; Spelling Test

St. Augustine: If your child is attending the St. Augustine trip, please be sure to get your deposit in as soon as possible.

Parent/Teacher Conferences: Please don't forget to get with me about a date and time for a conference. If we have one now, we will get a head start on working together and ensuring your child's success this year!!! 

LOOKING AHEAD: Please plan to attend our FCAT Parent Night on October 11th. You will receive a TON of information regarding testing and ways you can help your child! More information will be sent home in the Wednesday folder.
