Weekend Information

I sent home a packet of practice pages for Chapter 1 in Math so that my wonderful students could work on it with you this weekend in preparation for their Chapter 1 test. The front of the packet has a letter to parents with some tips to help them. Please send it back with them on Monday so that we can go over it together in class. They will have their test on Tuesday, October 4th, and it will be on the skills that are included in that packet. I will send the Review/Test home with them on Monday night as an additional homework assignment to make sure they are ready for Tuesday's test.

Also, your child should have brought home their AR book to read over the weekend. Be sure they bring it back and forth to school with them. This book should be used for Reading minutes during the week as well. They will need to take an AR (Accelerated Reader) test next Friday. This will be an ongoing thing where they pick a new book on their level each Friday and will have to take a test on it the followng Friday.

I received several deposit payments for St. Augustine and I am so excited!!!! If you have not yet sent in your money, or if you need to wait until a certain date to send it in, please let me know! I will do whatever I need to assist you in any way possible because I would like for EVERYONE to be able to go!
